Children’s events for Easter at St. John’s

We are getting geared up and making plans for Easter! Please mark your calendars for two special children’s events:

  1. Good Friday Children’s Service at 4 p.m. outside in the Memorial Garden (weather permitting).

  2. Easter Egg Hunt immediately following the 9 a.m. service. Please note there is no 10 a.m. service on Easter!

The St. John’s Easter Egg Hunt will take place Easter Sunday, Apr. 20 immediately after the 9 a.m. service. We are looking for help in the following ways:

  1. Simply stuff 50 plastic eggs (empty eggs available in my office) with nut-free candy and return them to me next week.

  2. Help to hide the eggs the morning of the Egg Hunt. This is a great job for older kids or youth!

  3. We need 3-6 adult volunteers to supervise each of the Egg Hunt locations. Please let me know if you’re able to help. Thanks so much!
